Transducer for Western/Steel String - passive.
There are two models of HFNs made for Western/Steel String Guitars. The basic HFN pickup is supplied as a passive pickup and is prewired to a high quality take apart endpin jack.
The HFN Artist gives you the same piezo unit coming prewired to a "State-of-the-Art" endpin jack preamp.
These pickups mount to the bridge plate area on the underside with your choice of the supplied special mounting putty (recommended) or 3M VHB secure foam mounting tape. These HFNs will fit virtually any Western/Steel String Guitar from a Triple-O to a 12 String. Installation is quick and easy and takes about 15 minutes.

Finally, the HFN is a pickup that lets an acoustic guitar sound as good plugged in as it does unplugged!
No quack, nor 'under the saddle' headaches. Nothing but the true sound of the instrument. The HFN is so transparent in the way it goes about its business, you will swear you were listening to a mic'd guitar.....
