New MVC Series Jack Assemblies Low Profile Units for Mandolin, Bouzouki, Mandola, Cittern Measuring only 1/2" in height and about 1 3/8" square, this jack assembly gives you a quick and convenient way to attach a 1/4" output jack to an instrument. These MVC jack assemblies, with our exclusive tailpiece mounting, are much more secure and a lot less likely to damage an instrument than the older 'clamp on' type of jack assemblies. It stays out of the way of your hand The jack assembly, which nestles in right next to the tail piece, is only a half an inch high and mounts to the tailpiece, not to the body. The underside of the jack assembly has a protective felt backing to protect the instrument from scratches. MVC jacks will mount quickly and simply to virtually all normal tailpieces. Some tailpieces (such as a Weber) require a slight trimming of the mounting materials supplied with the jack assembly. |
